Please be on time for your lessons. For group classes, please be respectful of other students' learning needs (i.e., audio, visual, faster, slower).

If your instructor must cancel a class session for any reason, he/she will make an attempt to email all students and follow up with a phone call using all telephone numbers you have provided. Please provide Bi-Lengua and your instructor with adequate contact information to help during our efforts to contact you.

In the event of inclement weather, please call the office of the location at which you are currently taking classes. Call our Stafford office at (540) 659-4455, or our Woodbridge office at (703) 878-8282. Our staff will be on hand to share class closure information with you, or our office voice messages will be updated with class closure information.

Bi-Lengua will offer a make-up session at no additional cost to students for any class that is cancelled by Bi-Lengua administrators or by its teaching staff.

NO-SHOWS/CANCELLATIONS of Private Lessons: CHANGE EFFECTIVE October 15, 2007: Teachers' schedules are designed specifically to acommodate the class dates and times originally requested by each student, and require Bi-Lengua to make that class date and time unavailable to other students. No-shows and cancellations result in a financial loss to the teachers and to the school. Therefore, students who do not show up AND do not call AT LEAST 24 HOURS ADVANCED NOTICE to cancel their scheduled class, with FORFEIT the time amount of time that was previously scheduled for that day's class session. (Example: A student who does not show up for a class that was previously scheduled from 4:00pm until 5:30pm will lose 1.5 hours of the time off of the balance of their CLASS PASS. That same student would have needed to CALL our office no later than 3:59pm the day prior in order to avoid forfeiture of the time allotted). NO REFUNDS WILL BE GRANTED for forfeited time due to no-shows and cancellations with less than 24 hours notice. NO EXCEPTIONS

In the event that the student must miss a GROUP Class, the student may elect to make up that class on a day, date, and at a time to be mutually agreed upon by the student and the instructor. The make-up fee in the amount of the then currently hourly rate for the language for which the student is enrolled will apply, and payment for make-up sessions is due prior to the start of the make-up session.

Although we review previous lessons each week, it is each student's responsibility to study and complete work from missed lessons. Please do not hesitate to speak to your instructor.

CLASS PASSES consist of a group of lessons, usually consisting of 15 hours or more, for which students pay the tuition in full, in advance, and receive at a discounted hourly rate, rather than paying tuition on a "pay-as-you-go" basis. CLASS PASSES provide students with the flexibility to design their own class schedules, including days, dates, times, duration, (as available) etc., as well as the general content. For example, a student who works in the real estate profession, may request that we incorporate/focus the majority of his/her content on his/her industry of real estate.

Please note: CLASS PASSES expire after 30 days of inactivity. In other words, you must schedule and attend a private lesson class session at least one time every 30 days, or your CLASS PASS will expire and no longer be valid. NO REFUNDS will be granted for CLASS PASSES that you allow to expire due to inactivity.

You will be provided with the contact information for your educator and Administrators. Please communicate any concerns, problems, comments, compliments, suggestions or questions with Bi-Lengua staff and/or Administration, as you desire. Bi-Lengua's Administrative team, office support, Course Director and President values your feedback.

You may request a hard copy of the Class Policies for additional policies and disclosures. A copy of the Class Policies is available upon request via fax, email, U.S. mail, or in person. Failure to request a copy of the Class Policies does not release any student from the responsibility of following by the policies. Your registration for any class offered by Bi-Lengua indicates your acknowlegement and acceptance of all policies.
